Arc the Lad

Arc the Lad easily goes down on my "Most Addicting Games Ever" list. Owning it for less than a week, there's 30+ hours on the game. The tactical style, interesting characters, and clear graphics make it an enjoyable journey. In the first few minutes of the game you'll find slight drool streaks down your television screen from the cut-scenes, but those may dry up in boredom after the loooooong introductory sequence. It may be a personal preference... but I like discovering the characters as I go along instead of reading on and on about them for hours.

After struggling through the infamous introduction, a very unique storyline unfolds. Although the story mainly focuses on 2 characters in the game, you'll be allowed to play as many characters and learn about their pasts. I rather enjoyed the concept of playing out both sides of a war, you alternate playing as the characters Kharg and Darc both who share one thing in common.

Game Case Summary
For years, the Humans and Deimos have been at war in their struggle to capture the Great Spirit Stones. To the Humans, the stones represent a magical source of power and light. To the Deimos, the stones are the viable force behind their spell-casting abilities. But fate is about to place the future of both races in the hands of two men.
