The Fast - Clear - Crisp animation style in Blood, The Last Vampire is very unique. Almost the whole story has the same amount of detail (Which is a lot), there are certain scenes (The planes going overhead, and the girl who commited suicide in the tub) that are so well done - they almost look real. If Blood lacked in every other category, the graphics would still make up for a lot.
The story isn't incredibly original, but it's played out incredibly well. The first time I watched it I leaped for the remote to change it to Japanese when the english voices came on (I watch my anime subbed) - but I came to realize you don't have an option to change it, the story is both Subbed and involves english voices which are both played out well. It takes place in an American AFB in Japan. Maybe it's just my simple mind, but I was impressed with this setting.
The movie's about 80 minutes - like other short masterpieces, they end too damn soon.
I thought I heard something about them finishing it up later on. The story made no point on how the vampires got there, and what happened at the end. It's frustrating, but still well worth watching.
