This was my first real anime series that I watched so it holds a special place in my heart. I think the storyline is so original. The story is all-involving and well thought out. Although the story does sometimes get repetitive and slow, it’s still a good watch. One of the things that bugs me is the constant “Miaka” and “Tamahome” stuff. They are always saying it…always. Very overly lovey-dovey. There is a point where enough is enough.

Despite that, the show is good. The graphics aren’t always the best and the sound could be improved. The music kicks ass though. Buy the CDs! I especially enjoy the fact that every single character is developed so well. Each and every one has a distinct personality that is totally different from everyone else’s. They all have their (little) quirks.

Watch it all the way through at least once in your life and see how good the story is. But please..ignore the annoying love scenes.

DVD Case Summary
This is the story of a girl, who made her dreams come true after she came to possess the seven stars of Suzaku, and many powers were bestowed upon her. The story itself is a spell. The one who reads it through will be given the powers and granted a wish like the girl in the story. Because… the story begins and becomes real… The moment the first page is turned.
