For a 45 minute movie, they sure packed the story and characters in well, like a little can of sardines all neatly crunched in their container. I loved the fast paced action, and the cars in this movie -- even though there's only two worth mentioning... Bean's Porsche-like model, and Persy's Mustang. The elements of speed and violence play out nicely together in this "A to B" style movie.
It's not hard to tell this was a low-budget movie, I think with the right funding they could have made this a decent 90 minute flick. Then again, I believe it was made in the 80's, so I can't really judge it on it's graphics, but I will anyway. There's no real character development here either, it's just a pretty straightforward story that doesn't progress much. It's just a "Day in the life of..." kinda theme.
There was a bit of comedy that produced a chuckle from me though, I always liked the part where Rally couldn't get Bean out of bed, so hits him over the head with a hot skillet. That's just good clean classic comedy there.
