When this game was released my store only got a few copies.. all imediately reserved by a bunch of unappreciative kids that will just get home and play it one day till they get bored then let the rest go to waste. Fortunately.. one person never showed up to get his copy, so it was mine for the taking.
The game amazed me before I even started a new file on it, the intro movie was breathtaking, a wonderful piece of art in itself.
If you've played the other Tales games, you can only expect them to be high quality. Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny, Tales of Destiny 2, and the PSP release - Tales of Eternia are no exceptions.
Durring your quest, you'll find yourself clinging to your characters and getting to know their individual personalities like you've known them forever. The character development and personalities are very intriguing, they definately put some effort into it. The story never fails to amaze me - even when you think you've got the story figured out, it turns again. This is definately one of the best "Save the world" games I've played in quite some time.
If you're looking for something to do this rainy (or snowy) long winter, grab this game - it'll keep you occupied all season.
